I entered the realm of photography via darkroom in 2010 and never looked back. Since then I have gone digital and tend to gravitate towards subjects like culture, travel, music, and food. I seek to uncover meaning and beauty in everyday life through still photography and multimedia. I’ve always loved to write, and have boxes of short stories I’ve written since I was a kid that has since morphed into journalistic writing.
I’m an Oregon native and proud of it. I completed my masters in Journalism at the University of Oregon in 2015, with an undergrad in French Language and Cinema. I spent my senior year abroad in Lyon, France sparking a lifelong and incurable case of wanderlust. I currently work as a Multimedia Journalist for SecureWorld Expo, reporting on cybersecurity and crime.
My work has been shown in Thought Catalog, Willamette Week, Oregon Public Broadcasting, Raw Artists, SecureWorld Expo, Sonically Awkward, Lane Monthly Magazine, Eugene Magazine, Ethos Magazine, and Peaceful Dumpling.
